Free of the DOC Band!

Everett got his DOC Band removed today. After 3 very annoying months of him wearing that band he is finally done. James took him to get it removed today. I wondered just how long it would take for him to hit his head. Before he would hit his head and none of us would flinch. Not even him. Since he had his helmet on we knew he couldn't hurt his head. Now he is helmet free. It took him less than 2 hours to hit his head and he screamed bloody murder!! Poor baby. Guess he will have to learn not to slam his head into things anymore. We'll see how many bruises he gets over the next week.

Back to work!

So, tomorrow I start my new job here in Connecticut. YIKES!! James is off the next two days so Everett does not start day care until Wednesday. I am totally freaking out about Wednesday. I am suppose to just drop my son off with these strangers and go to work and not worry. Yeah right. Those of you that know me know that I am an insane worrier. I do believe that my first day at work with him at day care is going to give me an ulcer!! I might actually throw up after I drop him off. I'm getting sick to my stomach just thinking about it. I visited a lot of centers in the past 2 months and chose this one. What if I chose the wrong one? Holy crap! James and I made a deal. I am going to give this job my very best for a few months. I will see if there is a real possibility of me building a clientele there or not. If there isn't I am gone. I will go back to staying home with Everett and we will just have to scrape by each month. Starting out I will only be making just barely enough to pay for day care so if I can't make more than that very quickly it just isn't worth it. Also, if Everett seems to hate it we will yank him out. I really don't want to go back to work, but I really need to give it my very best shot. I know if I don't try to build clientele here now I never will and I will always wonder if I could have. We will see how it goes. I will update you when I know more. BTW - here is a recent picture of Everett. Now you can see why I am reluctant to just drop him off with some random people!

Neighbors!!!!

ARE YOUR NEIGHBORS AS TRASHY AS MINE???? I THINK NOT.

BY THE WAY THIS IS INCREDIBLY CLEANED UP COM
PARED TO NORMAL. WHAT YOU DON'T SEE IS THE BROKEN DOWN MINIVAN AND THE BROKEN BOAT AND THE 8 OTHER CHILDREN RUNNING AROUND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET. THEY DON'T EVEN MOVE WHEN A CAR COMES. YOU HAVE TO HONK AT THEM SO THEY WILL MOVE ENOUGH FOR YOU TO GET BY. ALSO, THERE ARE NEVER ANY PARENTS AROUND. UNLESS IT IS 2 A.M. AND THEY ARE IN THE FRONT YARD WITH THEIR RADIO CRANKED UP AND ARE GETTING DRUNK. WE ARE NEVER GONNA BE ABLE TO SELL OUR HOUSE AND MOVE. OUR OTHER NICE NEIGHBORS ARE TRYING TO MOVE BECAUSE OF THESE PEOPLE. HOA WHERE ARE YOU????
(these are the best pics I could get without them spotting me. I'm not very stealth
. I will try to get better pics later when all of their crap is out)

NASTY!!

Tonight I drove in James' car and was warned that it was messy. Boy was that an understatement! It was DISGUSTING!!! He has trash all over the floor and empty bottles of water everywhere. He has a couple of coffee mugs in there and a bag of sunflower seeds. Did I mention that he has not one but two bottles full of chewed up sunflower seeds. Talk about nasty. I felt like I needed a hazmat suit to drive the thing.

GET YOUR OWN MONEY JERKS!!!!!

JERKS!!!!

James and I have experienced our first bank account fraud. James noticed some weird charges on our account and sure enough someone has stolen our info!!! NO I DID NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM GERMANY OR FRANCE!!! I know times are tough, but get your own money. Please do not steal ours. Should've gone to Free Credit Report.com!!! James and I would not look good in pirate hats and we would not be nice to tourists in t-shirts.

Is it all necessary or just overkill????

One thing you always hear about when you decide to have a baby is how much stuff you NEED to buy. They weren't kidding. There is a ton of things that a baby"needs". There is the pack-n-play, the crib, the changing table, the diaper champ, the bumpo, the boppy, the playmat, the swing, the bouncer, the high chair and the exersaucer just to name a few. (BTW We have all of these things) My question is, how much of this stuff do we actually need? James and I had this discussion. We determined that our parents raised us on half of this stuff and their parents raised them on practically none of this stuff. I am sure that there will be a time and a place for each of these items, but we haven't found that time yet. We have yet to really use the swing. We put him in it once for 5 minutes and that was it. Will I end up using it, or did I flush a little more than a hundred bucks?? The bouncer we have used a few times and I can see that we will probably use it more in the future but haven't yet. Again, a necessary item or did I waste like sixty bucks ?? The list goes on and on. I know the crib was necessary. We already use the crud out of that. Also, the diaper champ. We really use that thing. It helps keep that stink away. Anyway, I was just looking around my house at all of this stuff and wondering if it was all necessary. It may not all be necessary, but having it on hand just in case my boy needs it might be worth the money. Either that or I am just a sucker!! Hope he doesn't ask us for too much growing up. I know we will cave!!
