5 Days to go!!!!!

HOLY CRAP!!! James and I only have 5 days until our little boy arrives. I wish he would come today, but obviously it isn't up to me. The morning of March 3rd at 5 a.m. - (That's right I said 5!) we are heading to the hospital to makes this little guy come out whether he wants to or not! I would rather go into labor on my own and have tried to induce labor but have had no success. I didn't think it would take that much since I was already like 3cm and 80% effaced on Monday but I was wrong. I walked at a fast pace for 3 miles today and got no results. I ate pineapple, spicy food and did some jumping jacks. I think tonight I will try the warm relaxing bath thing! I have not tried the castor oil thing, mainly because I don't have any. Oh yeah I tried the pressure points in the hands and ankles thing today too. I am going for another walk with James tonight then I will take my bath. After that I QUIT! I will just lay around and wait til Tuesday morning!

Come on already!

James and I are ready for Everett to make his debut. I am tired of being pregnant! I am beyond done with it. Everyday James wishes for the baby to come out. I wish he would listen to his father already. Last week I went to the doctor and was at 2 cm and 60% effaced. Well I went to the doctor again today. I have not made much progress since last week. I am 2 cm and about 75% effaced. CRAP! Not what I was hoping for. I never imagined that this boy would want to hang out in my tummy so long. It can't possibly be that comfy in there. Oh well. Guess I will just have to get over it. I can't force him to come out. At least he will only hang out in there until the 3rd at the very latest. That really is only 12 days since today is almost over so it doesn't count and the 3rd doesn't count because we have to be there at like 4 a.m. OK that is the end of my rant. By the way. Are any of you aware of just how big 10 cm is? Here's a little visual in case you didn't know. YIKES!!!!

Everett's Room

Well - Everett's room is just about ready! Just a few more things here and there and we should be in business. James and I are loving the way it turned out. Which is all that matters considering Everett doesn't have an opinion and won't for quite some time. What do you guys think?
